 Nowadays, everyone from celebrities to regular people are blogging like theres no tomorrow. But if you have no idea what Im talking about, Id be glad to explain blogging to you! Fear not. You dont need any special skills on computers or social media to understand blogging.
To explain blogging, I would first have to tell you what a blog is. Putting it simply, a blog is an online journal where you can post your thoughts on whatever whenever. Unlike a Web site, a blog can be updated daily and your old entries can still be accessed.
To further explain the relevance of blogging in todays world, here are some of the most common purposes of blogging.
1) To Air Out Personal Thoughts
The most basic purpose of blogging is to express thoughts and emotions. This is perhaps the beauty of blogging. You can be a total nobody, or a famous rock star, and still blog!

 Blogs are all the rage these days. If you havent caught up to the trend yet, perhaps its time you learn how to start a blog.
I believe you know how to operate a computer and have been exposed to the World Wide Web. If youve reached this sentence and still dont know what Im talking about, youre going to need to acquaint yourself with the Internet.
If, however, you do understand what Im talking about and you want to learn how to have a blog, then youve come to the right place!
Step 1 On How To Start A Blog: Open An Account.
The first thing you have to do is to open an account. There are a lot of free accounts available for those who are just starting out. I highly recommend livejournal.com, blogspot.com and wordpress.com.
You can browse through their sample blogs or check to see whether their services and style match your preferences. During this time, you are also encouraged to check out other blogs. Learn from them and be inspired.
