So, you have posted an amazing ad campaign video on the net a few weeks ago but still you are not getting your target number of views. And it is getting quite frustrating. You start to recount the things you did: Create a video with great content that you are sure will attract hundreds and thousands of viewers. You also, put in a keyword loaded description, and all the Meta tags you can come up with. Copies of the videos are posted on various free video hosting sites, yet nothing. What did you miss?
Well, for one thing, you missed social media optimization. In video marketing, SMO is the key. Gone are the days when you simply have to post a great 15-30 second video and expect web users to easily stumble upon it. Nowadays, there are literally hundreds to thousands of videos that are uploaded into a video hosting site such as YouTube or Daily Motion.
